First Fire Protection Limited is a registered member of the
British Automatic Sprinkler Association.
The British Automatic Sprinkler Association is the national
trade association for the industry.
It was formed in
1974 and has as its members, manufacturers, contractors and specialist
suppliers, representing over 80 per cent of the industry's turnover.
The main objective of BASA is to increase the market for sprinklers
by making sure that as many people as possible know how sprinklers
can play a major role in saving life and property in a fire.
BASA works closely with fire brigades, building control officers,
insurers, architects and town planners. The Association is dedicated
to making sure that sprinkler systems are installed to the highest
professional standards.
