HEALTH & SAFETY

Health & Safety is paramount to us and our clients. To demonstrate our commitment to our exisiting and potential clients, we have achieved the SAFEcontractor Certification Status - in recognition of reaching SAFEcontractor's Health & Safety Standards in accordance with Fire Sprinkler Systems Installation and Maintenance.

We pride ourselves on this accolade as SAFEcontractor has become the fastest growing Health & Safety Scheme in the UK. In line with Health & Safety requirements we provide our clients with the necessary Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH (Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health) documentation for the projects we undertake, which are completed by our trained staff.

We currently seek professional advice from our external Health & Safety Consultant - Citation Plc. All of their highly experienced Health & Safety consultants have been awarded professional membership, by examination, of either the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) or the International Institute of Risk Safety Management (IIRSM).

Citation Plc advises us on all aspects of Health & Safety including compliance, safe systems of work, risk assessments and related paperwork. Audits are carried out annually with Citation Plc to review and update our Health & Safety processes to ensure we are in line with current legal requirements. Our consultant will also highlight and recommend any necessary Health & Safety or 'job related' training for both internal and external employees.

In addition to the above, all of our Site and Service Engineers have passed the industry standard SKILLcard / CITB-Construction Skills Health & Safety test. Some of our clients require our engineers to undergo specialist training before undertaking certain projects, therefore we have engineers that are highly trained to work on all types of fire protection systems and environments. For example, confined space projects such as water storage tank footvalves. As with Risk Assessments and Method Statements we can also provide copies of our engineers training certificates to our clients before undertaking such works.
